Why Would You Need Third Party Maintenance?
What might have driven you here as the constant need to reduce your IT operational budget. Within the OEM what we see is as devices age they increase in maintenance costs. This has been a tried and tested upgrade policy by the OEM's for centuries.
From a sustainability perspective we know that changing to new models has the worst impact on your sustainabilituy goals. This means you create the upstream impact of the raw minerals, manufacturing and CO2. You then contribute to the downstream impacts of E-Waste.
So the best solution is to see if you can manage with what you have but to try to reduce the operational overhead on the business.
We look to ask a simply set of questions to ascertain if the devices should sit be used.
Where do they sit in the environment?
Do they rely on key software updates?
Is there redundancy?
Are they a single point of failure?
If the answer to all of these is NO then we may have a case to look to support those for longer and a declining cost scale.

- Escalation Delays - We often see delays with service providers in that they have to go through two or three levels of escalation before they are able to resolve the issue.
- SLA's are not real SLA's - The SLA's quite often in the partner world are only actually times to start working on the issue and not time to resolve.
- 4 Hour costs - OEM's often drive towards a 4 hour SLA yet quite often keeping spares could resolve the issue quicker. If the issues is related to software this often takes longer
- Everything must be covered - Quite often the messaging you hear from partners is that everything must be covered. When sometimes spares in place could resolve issues quicker
- Pricing Structures - Let's be clear the drive of the channel is to have you buy new hardware. Their mechanism for doing this is to increase the price of older hardware as it draws towards end of life.

Can I add all devices onto Third Party Maintenance?
Not all devices are candidates for TPM. We must look at a number of factors to determine their suitability
Can I still obtain IOS Updates from RecircIT?
We cannot provide any kind of IOS updates. Most of the devices that we will discuss with you either have free access to updates or will no longer have updates available.
What types of SLA's are available?
We offer the same SLA's as your OEM. Ranging from Next Businses Day to 4 Hours. Those come with an engineer or not you decide
Will RecircIT End Of Life Devices?
RecircIT is in the business of supporting the circular economy. We will never say that we will stop supporting your devices
